The Company

Our Client are a leading provider of Saas for clinical development solutions within the medical and healthcare sectors. The company is headquartered in America but have offices globally, with locations also in Asia and the UK. The company currently has around 1000 employees and around 150 in their UK office.

The Function

The Team Lead, SQA will write and execute test scripts for our clients products and upgrades of those products from user and functional requirements. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, review of user and functional requirements, writing test scripts to verify stated and implied requirements, execution of test scripts and defect tracking and resolution. This role involves an acute sense and attention to detail that others may overlook.

A Team Lead will have additional responsibilities to collaborate with the Product Management and Engineering teams to identify functional and regression test strategies and to manage the testing process. This includes setting the schedule, assigning SQA engineers to particular tasks, tracking progress against the schedule and providing regular management updates.

Responsibility Overview:

    • Test Script writing
    • Test Script execution
    • Review of Requirement documents
    • Defect tracking and resolution
    • Creation of Validation Plans and Validation Summaries
    • Tracking and monitoring of software testing projects
    • Coordinate and discuss functional testing and regression testing with Product Management and Engineering
    • Design and generate automated test scripts using various automated tools
    • Provide periodic departmental updates to R&D management
    • Demonstrate a high degree of quality and attention to detail

Qualifications:

    • Four-year college degree in computer science, engineering or applied mathematics preferable
    • Experience working in a regulated, document environment
    • Demonstrated understanding of the requirements stated in 21 CFR Part 11 and its predicate documents
    • Superior organization, written communication and verbal communication skills
    • Expert user of MS Word and Excel
    • Leadership skills
    • Experience using automated test application is desired but not required
    • 3+ years experience in a QA / QC environment
    • 1+ year experience in clinical research preferred
    • 1+ years experience testing in a multi-platform environment
