This role will see you overcoming business challenges through process transformation and the use of technology. You’ll be involved in some of the largest and most complex Oracle implementations, often in an international arena, and you’ll take responsibility as an Oracle Applications DBA consultant for the delivery of an Oracle solution including the applications, database and complimentary technologies.
As well as experience of at least three Oracle E-Business Suite implementations across the full project lifecycle, including project environment planning , aligning development and test systems availability with project plans, and best practice in change management and configuration management;
You will need deep technical experience in the following areas:
• Upgrades and Installations
• Oracle E-Business Suite and it’s underlying technology stack.
• Portal, Single Sign-on, Discoverer, OEM, OBIEE etc
• Environment planning and management
• Oracle Data base, Application Server, Concurrent Management Framework
• Performance tuning throughout the technology stack
• Backup and recovery processes and technologies (RMAN etc)
• Disaster recover technologies and processes
• Cloning methods and tools
• High availability deployment architectures (such as Oracle RAC, HA clusters)
• System health, performance and capacity management through appropriate tools
In addition, you’ll need all of the following:
